Fees & Opening Hours

Children can join the nursery in the September following their second birthday.

We offer a flexible approach to parents with an optional breakfast and tea time club to ensure that you only pay for what you need.

Fees are paid in advance at the beginning of each term.  We accept all providers of childcare vouchers.

Fees

All children over three years old receive the Early Years Entitlement funding. For private places this effectively reduces the overall cost of the session. Some parents are entitled to 15 hours funded whereas others can get 30 and for some it is beneficial to spread the funding over the course of the year (49 weeks) instead of using it only in the term time.  As a result, there are dozens of combinations which take into account how many sessions you use per week, the type of session and how many hours you are entitled to.  We work with parents to ensure they use their entitlement in the most cost effective way to them.

Example 1 – A child attending three morning sessions per week could use 3 hours funding per day which would reduce the cost of the session from £38 to £23.

Example 2 – A child attending four full day sessions per week with parents who are entitled to 30 hours funding per week could use 6 hours funding per day which would reduce the cost of the session from £55 to £25.  However, if their parents were only entitled to 15 hours per week they could use 3.75 hours funding per day which would reduce the cost of the session from £55 to £36.25.

In a nutshell, when a privately funded child turns three they benefit from the Early Years entitlement funding which effectively reduces the cost of each session.   For these children the first three hours of every session is funded by the Early Years entitlement scheme or if they are staying for a full day they can use up to 5 hours per day (see above).  As our privately funded sessions are longer than three hours parents pay the amount set out in the schedule of fees for the remainder of the session.
